Custom Longarm Quilting Service

As a professional quilter, I understand the love that has been poured into your quilt top.  Your keepsake will be handled with special care. When your quilt arrives at our studio, a custom overlay will be created for us to review together, making any design changes before the quilting begins. If you have anything special you would like included, we will happily do our best to incorporate them into the design.  The quilting process is done with free-motion and ruler work (no computer programs) on a long arm quilting machine.

We offer two types of longarm quilting:

Custom Quilting: The cost per quilt starts with a standard price of 2 cents per square inch. Heavier quilting designs may cost up to 5 cents per square inch, this price will be calculated in the design process and any additional cost will be due upon completion of the quilting.

Pantograph Quilting: Quilting in the same pattern over and over, row by row, vertical or horizontal. We have a variety of pantographs available or we can work together to create a design uniquely yours.  The starting cost for pantograph quilting is 2 cents per square inch.

  • Thread is included in the price of quilting.  We provide a wide selection of colors that will match the color tone of your quilt.
  • Batting is included in the price of both styles of quilting.  Our preferred batting is Quilters Dream 80/20 Natural, perfect blend of 80% high grade long staple USA cotton fiber paired with 20% fine denier poly microfiber or Quilters Dream poly in black. You are welcome to provide alternative batting, please follow these guidelines if doing so.
  • Return shipping, at the standard rate and time, is included in the price for quilting, however expedited delivery will increase the price.

Backing: You will provide the backing for your quilt. Please follow these guidelines for doing so.

Binding:  We are happy to finish up your quilt with a binding.  You will provide the materials using the formula provided . The cost is 5 cents per inch (the perimeter of the quilt).
